Students' last "Friday" Assembly today

Dr. Hovanec started off our assembly announcing that it was the last "Friday" assembly of the year. Throughout the year, we focused these assemblies on anti-bullying and character traits. Students of the Month for April and May were recognized. Carly and Christina were two students of the month from our class. Sixth graders, with the help of Ms. Moore, made a video based on a book about cheating to help explain May's character trait of TRUSTWORTHINESS. Mr. Campbell & band and Mrs. Sternberg led the students in several character education/anti-bullying songs they wrote and recorded. Thanks to a grant from the Conestoga Valley Education Foundation, Mr. Campbell and Mrs. Sternberg were able to record all of the songs they wrote in a studio and give a CD to every family at Fritz Elementary. The CD should be coming home with your youngest/only child today.
