Yesterday, 20 fourth graders competed for the title of Fourth Grade Spelling Champion in a grade-level spelling bee. Five students from each class participated in the grade-level bee. Students battled it out through 15 rounds. Jayden, from Mrs. Anderson's homeroom came in third place. His word enemy was "amphibian," with his spelling of a-m-p-h-i-b-a-n. Camdyn, from Mrs. Griffith's class, came in second place, faulting on the word "exhibit," spelling it e-x-i-b-i-t. Jacob, our first place winner from Mrs. Anderson's class, confidently spelled "exhibit" and his final word, "astronaut." Great spelling, fourth graders, and congratulations to Jacob!
